Trend of Data Science Methodology and Techniques for
Big Data/IoT Era

Organizers: Ryosuke Saga (Osaka Prefecture University, Japan)

Abstract:

The maturity of internet produce a new era for data. PC, mobiles phones, and many sensors embedded in several devices generate data including text, image, movie etc., and many researchers and business people has focused on massive data processing such as the sharing and utilization of data as well as information and knowledge extracted from the data. This called Big Data or IoT exceeds the framework of the traditional dataset, then, new problems and the challenge for the problems appear.

This session aims at the discussion about the problems and methodology for Big Data/IoT era. This session is not limited to not only computer science but also business area. This session aims at the discussion about for Big Data/IoT era and we would like to attract researchers and business people whose expertise is related to Big Data/IoT, and encourage of the sharing of advanced methodology and new problems around Big Data/IoT.
